We are currently supporting a large scale oral history project which illustrates the social, political, economic and character changes in our town over the last seven to eight decades in residents' own words. Copies of Newtown Remembered: An Oral History of the Twentieth Century, the first volume of oral histories, and Newtown Remembered: More stories of the 20th Century, the second volume, are in the circulating collection of the C.H.
